The Falmouth Hotel

Pleasant hotel, attentive staff, unbeatable location on the seafront. Executive queen room with milk and a bottle of water. Special atmosphere in the dining room during breakfast.

Beds were a little hard.

Attentive and efficient stuff explained where we where staying.

Super location, old venerable hotel where Agatha Christie and Rolling Stones have stayed.

Unfortunately you can tell that it is getting old. A complete renovation will certainly be due in a few years. Partly shabby and out of date for a house of this class. Price / performance was not great.

Breakfast was ok, the location very nice

One of the two rooms was next to a room (cold storage room etc...?) which was constantly making noise.

In one room the mattresses were worn down to the springs. The rooms without sea view are relatively noisy due to seagulls that spend the night on a canopy directly in front of the poorly closing windows. The hotel makes an overall unloving impression.it was once very nice .but it was not invested.

The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean and spacious and we had a nice view over the sea. It was my husband's birthday and the hotel provided a bottle of champagne in our...  

Old hotel, a little used, but nice. A good ten minutes walk from the centre of Falmouth, ideal as a base for excursions.

Were on a round trip with motorcycles. Reception very friendly. Parking in front of the hotel. Very nice hotel, even if it is a bit outdated. Great location by the sea. We had very large corner room with sea view. Great ambience. More expensive than...

We like the way we were greeted on arrival. The food was good. The Hotel has stunning views over the bay the lawns and garden well kept. The bar staff and reception were excellent. Will stay again..

The views from our sea view room were fine, perfect for a romantic sunset. The beachfront location was a bonus!

Squeaky bathroom floor.

It is a gorgeous old hotel- about 150 years old. Great location on the beach and within walking distance to the town of Falmouth. Our room was decorated beautifully, and the mattress was very comfortable. Newly renovated...  

The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The view from the hotel over Falmouth bay is fantastic.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, on arrival at the hotel we received a bottle of wine and a congratulations card from the staff,which we both very much appreciated. thank you for a lovely time Rob and Sue Keats...
